Nordax granted license to conduct banking business and changing name to Nordax Bank AB (publ)
The Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority has on December 5, 2014 granted Nordax Finans AB (publ) a license to conduct banking business.
The bank license is expected to strengthen the company brand in the Nordic and German consumer finance markets and will further clarify the company’s mission in relation to stakeholders. The bank license will also enable further development of the existing product offering within savings and new product offerings such as bank cards.
An application to change the company name to Nordax Bank AB (publ) has been filed with the Swedish Companies Registration Office.

Nordax is a bank that offers savings and lending to private individuals in Sweden, Norway, Finland, Denmark and Germany with headquarters in Stockholm.
